There are roughly 3 billion people in the world today that don’t have access to reliable energy. Many of which reside in disaster zones or in countries that lack the proper infrastructure. Here at Nextek, we are ambitious about changing that, which is why we are proud to announce that the newest generation of the IEEE Smart Village SunBlazer has arrived!

Designed by Nextek, the SunBlazer is a mobile micro grid that’s manufactured to be easily deployed anywhere in the world with an objective of bringing power to people in places without it. The new Sun Blazer-IV is lighter, more modular, more rugged and easier to install compared to its earlier iterations making it very adaptable for the multitude of use-cases for which it’s needed. The SunBlazer platform has been in operation since 2010 and was first deployed in Haiti providing power to many communities and has since been replicated in Cameroon.
