Nextek Power Systems, Inc. has been nominated for the 2004 World Technology Award for Energy

We are pleased to announce that Nextek Power Systems, Inc. has been nominated for the 2004 World Technology Award for Energy. Nextek is one 14 international corporations nominated; the winner will be announced in San Francisco's City Hall on the final night of the 2004 World Technology Summit to be held October 7th and 8th, 2004.

This is a prestigious award and we are honored to be amongst the nominees for 2004. The winner last year was the Environmental Energy Technologies Division of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the winner in 2002 was Toyota Motor Corporation, for their work in hybrid vehicles. These awards are given by the World Technology Network organization (www.wtn.net), which organizes these peer-reviewed honors with the help of major sponsors such as Microsoft, Philips, and NASDAQ.
