Nextek Power Systems executives were among the presenters at the recent EnergyTech 2012 conference, held in Cleveland OH on May 29-31.
The event spotlighted products and research and development that are contributing to strengthening the advanced energy industry. Nextek is a pioneer in direct current (DC) power networks for buildings, and CEO Paul Savage has recently authored a paper entitled “Building the Case for Global DC Power Standards” (click to download a pdf of the paper).
Liang Downey, Nextek’s Director of Digital Applications, served as Lead Organizer and Moderator for the session “Adopting DC Power For Building,” which explored the topic of rapidly developing and deploying DC power systems for building application. John Jashan, Director of Engineering, was among the panelists, and offered a presentation on “DC Microgrids: “A Direct Route To Energy Efficiency” (click to download a pdf of the presentation).
